Mocha had her last DHPP shot last week (and Bordatella vaccine a few weeks ago), and her nails are getting long. So, we are safe to bring her to the groomer for socialization and a trim (a puppy trim). PS: I mentioned Bordatella because from the yelp reviews, I learned that the dogs are put in kennels when they’re waiting for their turn to be handled, which means the popular groomer handles several dogs at a time.

We asked to be gentle with her, and specifically to have her nails clipped, sanitary area and paw pads and snout hair trimmed. The rest we weren’t too picky so the groomer asked whether half of the hair length is ok and we said yes. There’s a charm in her shagginess, but I think she’s cuter now that we can see her eyes and expressions better.

Mocha was Thing 3 (Dr. Seuss’ Cat in a Hat) for Halloween. My husband was Thing 1 and I was Thing 2. These pictures are 1 day apart (Halloween and post-groom).
